volunteering for the Toys For Tots program. Below are the
different activities we need your assistance with as well as some
answers to questions we frequently get. For more information
please contact us, and for dates &
times that we need volunteers please check our calendar.
Volunteer Functions
- Separate toys
- Distribute toys to the families
- Unload toys from cars and trucks
- Call toy recipients to come pick up their toys
Volunteer Procedure
- Questions will be answered by veteran Toys for Tots volunteers.
- Please come by the warehouse on designated days when you want to volunteer your time. No need to call in advance or make an appointment to come.
- We will have a sign in sheet for the volunteers. This information is necessary to keep accountability of persons working for Toys for Tots. Please provide complete information on the sign in sheet.
Volunteer Procedure (For
NFL & NHL Game Collections)
- 5 volunteers per game are needed.
- Volunteers will stand at entry points with Marines wearing dress blues
to thank and greet people who donate toys or money.
- The volunteers will be provided a
Toys For Tots t-shirt to wear for this function.
- Volunteers and Marines will not be allowed to attend the football game.
- As for the hockey games, we are still waiting on word from them as to whether they'll allow the
volunteers to stay and watch the game.
